Founders of Les Sources de Caudalie, Alice and Jérôme Tourbier have evolved in luxury hotelry for over 20 years. For them, service is all about a state of mind. Wanting to please, having an eye and a taste for beauty are qualities that are not only required in the luxury sector, but unfortunately too often seen as inaccessible to many profiles.
Which was why "La Sources Académie" came into being. "We really did not want candidates endowed with these qualities of generosity and caring to be held back by the technical aspect of our profession. Human and esthetic dimensions are vital, and "La Sources Académie" enables us to provide ongoing training in our hotel practices for these fine states of minds," explains Jérôme Tourbier.
Manageress for Human Resources, Alexandra Bauer then adds: "La Sources Académie was launched to respond to several issues we were experiencing in-house. It allows us to offer team members short, tailormade training sessions (one or more modules lasting from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on requirements) at times and dates that suit us. They exist alongside more wide-ranging training courses, also held when the hotels are closed".
How to shine shoes, deal with complaints, express oneself in a foreign language, read an operating statement or conduct a recruitment interviewsuccessfully are all modules to which our staff can lay claim, voluntarily or at the request of a manager. Another highlight of La Sources Académie: everyone can be an instructor or learner.
