Jeanne Rey

Born in Clermont-Ferrand, Jeanne Rey, aged 25, is destined for a brilliant career. A year and a half ago, she joined Les Sources de Cheverny as Guest Services Agent, and has since been promoted to Guest Services Manager.
What drew you to luxury hospitality?

I have been lucky enough to travel a great deal and stay in grand hotels where I observed the importance of personalized customer relationships. Which is why, after graduating with a Bachelor in international commerce, I then pursued an MBA in international hotel management at the Vatel School in Lyon.

What role is played by your team in the client experience, and how does your new position enable you to reinforce this impact on an everyday basis?

We handle management of enquiries from groups, from presenting estimates to follow-up during their stays. We make sure that their experience is a success, aiming to welcome them back! This applies to both seminars and corporate banquets, yoga retreats, weddings and privatizations. In parallel, we also deal with requests from private clients: planning of transfers, negotiation of preferential rates, organization of activities… In both cases, we are their first point of contact.

What do you enjoy most in your work?

There is no routine, or very little. The wide variety of my tasks means that each day is unique, which is really stimulating. I also especially appreciate being involved prior to our guests’ stays. It is a key role as we have the chance to convince future clients to choose Les Sources de Cheverny rather than any other address. Highly gratifying!

A word about the setting?

In this peaceful, restorative environment, Les Sources de Cheverny offer a very pleasant workplace. And the team’s family spirit is an undeniable asset.
